My Hyper-Fixation Yogurt Bowl

Vegan, Gluten Free, Refined Sugar Free Friendly

This yogurt bowl has had a chokehold over me for the past few weeks or so. It’s just so good and keeps me full for hours. If I’m not having a smoothie this, I’m having a variation of this. Feel free to use this recipe as a base and customize it to your needs.

Ingredients

3/4 cup (170g) of plain nonfat greek yogurt (I get the Kirkland brand from Costco, or I like the Fage brand. If dairy free, Cocojune is incredible)

½ banana, sliced

1/2 cup (70g) frozen blueberries (or fresh)

A handful of strawberries, quarter or thinly sliced

Optional Add-In’s

Protein powder (I love using Sprout Living’s Vanilla Lucuma blend. If interested use code ALEXANDRIA20 for 20% your order.

Cacao nibs

Natural peanut butter

Goji berries

Bee pollen

Cinnamon

Local raw honey (I love getting this at farmer’s markets or speciality shops that support bee farmers, this one is also great)

Flakey sea salt

Method

If using protein powder, in a medium bowl, combine the protein powder and yogurt along with a few tablespoon’s of water or milk to mix evenly. This can get really messy so I like doing this in a different bowl than what I’m serving it out of.

In a separate bowl, add the protein yogurt mixture and start layering your toppings. You can add as many or as few as you’d like. This bowl is very customizable. I will often swap the fruit out to ensure I’m getting a good diversity.

You can make this recipe ahead and store it in the fridge. It makes for a great meal prep or taking on the go.
