My Top Used Products In February

Originally published: March 3, 2021

Welcome back to my monthly series that features the top products I have been loving and using daily. If you missed last month’s items, no worries, as I’ve linked them here. This month was a little different for me. If you have been following along on my Instagram, you probably know that I have been feeling pretty lackluster as of late. Throughout February, I focused on feeling good and returning back to the things that bring me a sense of peace. Just like I stated last month, I have personally used these items every day since the beginning of the month. I have included a button below where you can find the links easily, or you can find them individually listed below. I hope you enjoy this series and if you have any questions or comments, please leave them below as I would love to connect!

N0.01 — Microplane

I have a few favorite kitchen tools, but microplanes will always have a place in my heart. You can effortlessly mince garlic, zest citrus, shave chocolate, and make stunning visual experiences with one of these. The best part? They are easy to clean, and most are dishwasher safe, though I always wash them by hand. I also came across this one if you are looking for different blade types.

N0.02 — Insight Timer

Meditating has been my constant for the last three years, and let me tell you- there are a ton of apps on the market. Although I am a frequent user of the Calm app, I love using Insight Timer as well. However, this month I’ve also incorporated Insight Timer into my routine. What I love about it is that it’s completely free. I think it is extraordinary that they have made this app free and available to all. Everyone is entitled to having mental health resources. If you’re interested in finding more meditation apps, check out this article I wrote for Total Foods here.

Some of my favorites thus far are from Lalah Delia, Alexandra Elle, and Gisele Bündchen.

N0.03 — De La Heart Paddle

Now almost a year into the pandemic, getting massages and treatments aren’t a monthly thing like it used to be. I struggle with bouts of chronic body pain and am always keen on finding new ways to combat that. I am fascinated by our circulatory and lymphatic system (something I’m currently learning about in school), and this lymphatic drainage body tool has been fun to implement into my routine. If you are looking for a quick fix or a miracle worker, this tool isn’t for you. This paddle is merely a tool, and it’s up to you to implement it into your routine or not. A lot of that goes without saying, but I think it’s important to state that. If you are new to dry brushing or lymphatic drainage, check out this dry brushing guide I wrote for Total Foods here.

 N0.04 — 21oz Glass Cocktail Pitcher

To say I am obsessed with my glass pitcher is an understatement. I use it for my juices, iced matcha lattes, etc. The pitcher I originally bought is from Crate&Barrel, but not available anymore. So I found the next best thing, and it looks impressively similar.

N0.05 — Ippodo Tea, Ikuyo Matcha 100g

If you know anything about me, you know that matcha runs deep in my veins ;) Truly though. Being half Japanese, I have an affinity for teas of all sorts, especially high-quality teas. I am not a coffee drinker, so finding an alternative was imperative for me. Once you experience Ippodo, it will most likely ruin every other tea experience you’ll ever have. Ippodo is hands down my favorite tea company when it comes to Japanese teas. They have been around for 300+ years, and the way they care for their teas is impressive. To me, it is extremely important to choose a brand that directly represents Japanese culture and upholds its heritage in the highest regard.

Because I drink matcha almost daily, I bought the 100gram bag, but if you are new to matcha or new to the brand, I love Ummon-no-mukashi, Sayaka-no-mukashi, their organic blend, and their Ikuyo blend.
